The enemy among us.

Most people believe their enemy is the ex or their mother-in-law or their horrible neighbor. The truth is that all of us can be the enemy if we allow it. Many of us today wear our hearts on our sleeves. We take everything said personally, and that is when we open the door to the enemy. Ephesians 6:12 says, For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

I know it may be hard at first to understand this, and that is exactly how the enemy works. He wants you to believe it is not him that is the problem but it is another person or people. Deception is his strongsuit, and believe me he is a master at it.

2 Corinthians 4:4 says, Satan, "who is the god of this world", has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. So you see, Satan has been given high standing in this world. He received it from Adam in the garden of eden when Adam ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Jesus refers to satan in John 14:30 as "the prince of this world".

So, the next time someone trys to anger you, do not be so quick to fall for the "Prince of this world's" deception. It will only lead to destruction.
